There's a surprise around the bend

How to Use the Liquid-Plumr® Drain Snake

Straight shooters need a flexible solution when drainpipes are too bendy. Enter the drain snake. Here’s how to snake a drain:

With Liquid-Plumr® Double Impact® you’ll have a single-use 23” drain snake that dislodges gunk manually, with a thick, clog-dissolving gel to clear away the leftovers. Here’s how you use it:

  1. Insert the snake into your drain and move it downwards into the P-trap. Keep moving it so that it bends around the P-trap, as far as possible.
  2. Then, pull up the snake and throw it away (yup, drains can be pretty nasty).
  3. Finish off what’s left of the blockage by pouring the Double Impact® gel formula into the drain. Use as directed.
