    • Are Liquid-Plumr® products safe for all pipes?

      Yes. Lab tests confirm that all Liquid-Plumr® products are safe for all household plumbing. However, we do not recommend using clog removers in rubber pipes. The products may damage rubber.

    • Will any Liquid-Plumr® products clear a foreign object or tree root that is blocking my drain?

      Liquid-Plumr® products cannot clear a foreign object or tree root from your drain. You’ll need to call a plumber to remove the object.

    • Can I use Liquid-Plumr® products in marble, fiberglass, chrome or porcelain sinks?

      Absolutely. Use of Liquid-Plumr® products is safe for all types of sinks.

      How to unclog a sink drain.

    • Can I use my plunger with Liquid-Plumr® products?

      No. We do not recommend using a plunger when a clog remover is in the drain. There is a possibility that plunging will cause the product to splash back and get on you or your clothing.

    • Can I use Liquid-Plumr® products in my dishwasher?

      No. Unfortunately, we don’t recommend using clog removers in a dishwasher. Dishwashers frequently use rubber attachments for draining, and clog removers may damage rubber.

    • Can I use Liquid-Plumr® products in my toilet?

      No. Liquid-Plumr® products are not designed to remove the waste that may be clogging your toilet.

    • Is it safe to use Liquid-Plumr® products if I have a septic system?

      Yes. It’s safe to use Liquid-Plumr® products if you have a septic system. The ingredients degrade rapidly and will not harm the bacteria in your tank.

      For best results, we recommend using the snake and then the entire bottle of gel for every clog problem.

    • How long should I wait before flushing the drain with water?

      Always use the snake before pouring any gel down your drain. Then wait at least 15 minutes after pouring the gel down the drain before flushing with water. If you have an especially difficult clog, you can safely let the product sit overnight.

      This clog remover is not recommended for either washing machines or “laundry basins.” It was formulated specifically for fixtures with a plumbing “trap”, standard on most sinks. Additionally, the ingredients could compromise the outlet hose on your washing machine.

    • How do I know I have a “hair clog”?
